Axel Wright was on his way to trying out for the Boston Bruins when something tragic happened. During one of his games in the minor leagues, one of the players on the other team hooked him, and he messed up his knee badly. His doctor told him that his hockey career was over, but if he still wanted to skate, he could take up figure skating. Meanwhile, Riley Bishop, a two-time gold medal Olympic skater, was kicked off her team due to not being a team player. Her coach advised her that, in order to get her spot back on the team, she must now switch her skates and join her enemies' hockey team, but she also must teach Axel how to figure skate. Will their worlds collide, or will they help one another and fall in love?
